Hello.
Throughout my career in education there has been one common thread: I love working with upperclassmen as they prepare for what comes next after high school. I believe that higher education means any education and training beyond the high school diploma and believe we should celebrate each student’s unique interests and desired pathways. I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English Literature from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Colorado State University and am a certified English teacher with a tenure of teaching 12th grade literature, AP Literature & Composition, and multiple collegiate courses, such as Composition I & II, Introduction to Literature, and World Literature. I designed and taught college and career discovery programs at STEM School Highlands Ranch and Basalt High School, and have helped launch partnerships with CareerWise Colorado on both the front range and in the Roaring Fork Valley to increase career exploration opportunities in secondary education. As a board member for International College Options, I have a special interest in international education. My approach to the college process is simple; it requires consistent one-on-one support with the student and their family so that planning for postsecondary endeavors remains exciting and individualized. I look forward to helping you on this journey. - Alexandra Braeger, Owner/Consultant
